The Henderson Wave

 
On saturday we decided to take a walk and visit the Henderson Wave.  The Henderson Wave is a foot bridge the spans Henderson Road.  It goes from Mount Tabor to Mount Fabar and has a very interesting design.  You can see some of downtown Singapore and if you look the other direction you can see the harbor.  It provides some beautiful views of Singapore.  The following are some of the pictures that we took.

 This is looking at it from the Side.  Here you can see where it got the name of Henderson Wave; the bridge  looks live a wave from the side.

 The picture below shows the surface of the bridge  If You look closely you will notice that the walking surface is made of wood slats.  Also the surface is not flat, nor straight.

The picture below shows why the bridge is known as the Wave.  The upper part (wave) of the structure contains rest areas where people can sit.
